Jordan here 👋 I am the face behind melonmade. Having fun and being creative is at the forefront of everything I do. I believe design is a tool to inspire others and make the world a better place, through my designs I hope to spread a positive message and positively impact others.
the name…
I was born and raised in Toowoomba, a town in the sunshine state, Queensland. When thinking of the name for my creative brand, I thought about my origins in Toowoomba and wondered of it’s own origins. In the local language of the Barumggam people, Toowoomba is derived from ‘choowoom’ meaning native melon. As my dreams and passions were born out of my youth in Toowoomba and as I moved back to my hometown after graduating university where I began pursuing my career in design, I decided I was Toowoomba made.
And so we have, melonmade.
